Harel's Financial Check-Up

With the launch of new, innovative interfaces by competitors, it became clear that ‘Harel Insurance’ needed to offer a similar experience to stay competitive. The goal was to design an interface that would allow users to easily access and manage their pension, savings, and insurance details. Our research revealed that many users lacked clarity regarding their financial status, which led us to our key question:

“How might we create an interface that presents financial information clearly, enabling users to make informed decisions without feeling overwhelmed?”

From Research to Web Structure

In the final part of the research phase, we defined the information architecture to streamline the design process

Usability testing revealed design gaps, allowing us to improve the user experience:

Does it actually work?

Usability Testing

Initially, we placed all information on a single page. However, user testing showed that users lost their orientation while scrolling and often didn't reach the end.

Before

We implemented internal tab navigation, with separate tabs for savings and insurance, to help users stay focused and navigate more easily.

After- Adding a navigation element

Reordering the display

According to the information architecture survey, 80% of testers wanted immediate clarity on their future prospects.

Before

Therefore, we reordered the components to display future savings projections before the details of individual savings accounts.

After- Future savings first

Main Screens

We focused on creating a marketing-driven design that prioritizes speed and efficiency, ensuring users receive value quickly

The homepage was designed to be inviting and engaging, using illustrations to create a positive and informative experience. It immediately highlights available financial insights, including savings, insurance plans, and personalized recommendations, while guiding users through a simple step-by-step process

Savings and Insurance Overview

02

We prioritized visualizing quantitative data through graphs to simplify and make financial information more accessible. It was essential to balance the present - showing users their current account balances - with a forward-looking view of their retirement funds. This approach not only clarified the data but also revealed previously unknown accounts

What are my total savings?

Financial Plans and Accounts

Users can access detailed information about each savings fund and discover previously unknown accounts, gaining a complete and transparent financial picture.

How are my savings allocated?

We identified an opportunity to integrate another company’s financial product, empowering users to make more informed decisions while increasing its exposure to new audiences.
